Our campsite near Le Grau-du-Roi has around 70 rental accommodations, each with its own private terrace. Renting a mobile home in the Camargue remains the most popular choice for a family stay, from couples to tribes of 12 with the Grand Mistral model. The whole range has separate bedrooms, which makes all the difference when staying with several people.
Our air-conditioned mobile homes have 2 to 6 bedrooms and sleep 4 to 12 people. The brand-new Premium Roseau model opens the range with contemporary decor. Our Coco Sweet tents, halfway between a tent and a mobile home, sleep 2 to 4 people, while the cottage and the large Pampa cabin suit groups of 4 to 8.
Every unit has a fitted kitchen, a bathroom, a separate toilet and its own terrace. Enough room to get back from the beach, drop the towels and move on to drinks outside without tripping over each other. After a day in Le Grau-du-Roi, the children head to the pool while dinner is being prepared.
For family holidays in high season, you can book your stay directly online.

This accommodation also welcomes guests of our campsite near Nîmes, who come for the Roman arena, and those of our campsite near Uzès, drawn by the narrow streets of the Gard.

Tent lovers tend to choose our camping pitches in the Camargue : 50 plots of 80 to 100 m², with 10-amp hook-ups, with or without a 10 m² arbour for shade.
Tents, caravans, motorhomes and vans fit in without elbowing each other, far from the cramped plots of some seaside campsites. That is actually the main reason why seaside regulars end up parking their van with us: space, peace and trees.
A motorhome service point and an electric vehicle charging point complete the facilities. Bring a blue European plug or an adapter to connect to the 10-amp box. Our two sanitary blocks, one with a baby room and access for people with reduced mobility, are cleaned every day of the season.

The same aquatic area awaits families from our campsite near the Pont du Gard, back from the UNESCO-listed ancient aqueduct.

Campsite with a pool and slide

Our aquatic area has 3 separate zones, open every day from 10am to 7pm. The large pool has a swimming lane for early-morning lengths, while the balneo area offers jet benches, a water cannon and a micro-bubble seat.
Children head for the paddling pool and its 20 cm of water: a big tipping bucket, a flamingo and three wall waterfalls make up water games designed for toddlers. The big winding slide keeps the older ones busy for a good part of the afternoon.
After a morning on the sand at L’Espiguette, this pool is the perfect stop, with sun loungers on the raised deck. Two things to note: children must be supervised by their parents while swimming, and the balneo pool is not allowed for under-12s.

On the Bouches-du-Rhône side, Our campsite near Martigues opens onto the canals of the “Venice of Provence”, and our campsite near Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône onto the banks of the Rhône and fishing.

Visiting Le Grau-du-Roi from the campsite

Our campsite lies along the D37, just across from the hamlet of Saliers, in the heart of the Camargue Regional Nature Park. The road to Le Grau-du-Roi runs alongside rice fields and marshes before crossing into the Gard, towards Aigues-Mortes and then the coast.
Arles is 15 km away, Nîmes airport 16 km and Montpellier about an hour. This forty-minute drive explains why so many families prefer a campsite near Le Grau-du-Roi to an address squeezed between two seafront residences: here, horses and bulls graze behind the fences and flamingos fly over the lagoons.
Julie and Cécilia, two sisters deeply attached to their land, run Crin Blanc and help you plan your days between Camargue nature, the beaches of the Languedoc coast and towns of art. Free on-site parking makes these trips to the coast easy, all season long.
Port-Camargue, L’Espiguette and Aigues-Mortes can even be visited on the same day, without ever getting back on the motorway.

Towards Provence, Our campsite near the Alpilles leads to the trails of the massif, our campsite near Les Baux-de-Provence to the hilltop village and the Carrières des Lumières, and our campsite near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to the Provençal markets.

The beaches of Le Grau-du-Roi and L’Espiguette

L’Espiguette beach stretches over 10 km of wild sand across 534 protected hectares, classified as a Grand Site de France, with dunes up to 12 metres high. Few facilities, lots of space: it is the beach for walkers and wind lovers. The 27-metre L’Espiguette lighthouse has watched over the point for more than 150 years.
Six supervised beaches in Le Grau-du-Roi hold the Blue Flag, from Le Boucanet to the Pointe de l’Espiguette, via the Rive Gauche and the Rive Droite. Their lifeguard stations are open from June to September, from 11am to 6:30pm: so the children can swim while you relax.
Our tip: head to the beach early in the morning, when the car parks are still filling up slowly and the sand is still warm underfoot. Keep the afternoon for the campsite pool. After two hours of salt and wind, nobody complains about a pool and a slide.
Further along the coast, La Grande-Motte and its pyramid-shaped architecture extend the trip into the Languedoc.
